How do you score points?
Players score points by creating lines of tiles with the same color or shape. A line must have at least two tiles to score. The longer the line, the more points are awarded. Completing a line of six tiles (a Qwirkle) earns the player six additional points.
What happens if you run out of tiles?
If the draw pile is empty, players continue taking turns, trying to make the best moves with the tiles they have until no one can make any more moves.
What if I cannot make a move?
If you cannot make a move with the tiles in your hand, you must discard one tile and draw a new tile. If you have no tiles, you must pass.
How do you determine who goes first?
Players can decide who goes first by a random method, such as a coin toss or drawing a tile at random to see who gets the highest score.
