Named after the harbour town in Normandy, Honfleur is a Chalk Paint™ colour inspired by the rich warm brown found in the rustic French countryside as well as in Mid-century Modern design. This is a water-based, high-performance paint. For best results, ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. Remove any loose coats of old paint or lacquer. Apply one or two coats, with a drying time of approximately 1-2 hours depending on conditions. The paint offers coverage of approximately 13 square meters per litre and should be sealed with Annie Sloan Wax or Lacquer. It is suitable for a multitude of surfaces including wood, glass, metal, plastic, and previously painted surfaces, though it is primarily developed as a furniture paint. The formula is eco-friendly, child-friendly, and has low VOCs.
