Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Veriton VGN100 comes preconfigured with DGX OS, a Linux distribution optimized for AI workloads. Connect the included power adapter and QSFP stacking cable if linking multiple units. For initial use, connect a display via the HDMI 2.1b port, and input devices via the USB ports. Network connectivity is available via the 10000 Mbit/s Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 7.
Compatibility: While DGX OS is optimized for NVIDIA hardware and AI frameworks, ensure that any specific software or libraries you intend to use are compatible with this Linux environment. The workstation supports popular AI tools like PyTorch, Jupyter, and Ollama.
Care: Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating, as AI computations can generate significant heat. Avoid placing objects on top of the device, especially if stacking units. Clean the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the power supply is stable and use surge protection. A Kensington lock slot is provided for physical security.
