This 8 Amp Battery Charger efficiently recharges any 12V lead battery and features a straightforward, three-stage charging indicator. It's designed for portability, complete with a convenient carrying handle. Safety is ensured with reverse polarity and thermal overload protection. It includes robust, copper-insulated leads and durable crocodile clips for secure connections. All of this is encompassed in a rugged and compact design for easy storage and transport. EASY TO USE - Plug in the 1.6m mains cable to recharge your battery through insulated crocodile connectors, with no expertise required. Please note this battery charger is not a powerbank jump starter with its own power source. THREE STAGE CHARGING — featuring 3 stage charging; Bulk Charging — when the charger identifies the battery and its needs. Absorption Charging — when the battery has reached ~80 percent of its capacity and begins to lower the input current to the battery. The third and final cycle is known as the Maintenance Charge — the battery has already reached 95 percent; the battery charger will continue to apply a steady current until the battery reaches 100 percent capacity. RECHARGES ANY 12V LEAD ACID BATTERY — our intelligent battery chargers will easily charge any 12V lead acid battery. Battery types this range of chargers can recharge: STD, Gel, EFB and AGM. THERMAL OVERLOAD PROTECTION — reverse polarity and thermal overload protection in case of errors in charging and over-heating. PORTABLE AND PRACTICAL — the unit is compact and easy to store with a handle for mobility. COPPER INSULATED LEADS — the charge leads are strong and come with insulated crocodile clip connectors to attach to the battery.
