At 50cm wide, ThermaWall is easier to hang that traditional Wallrock Thermal Liner or KV600, making it much easier to handle by yourself, or for novice DIY'ers. Being 600gsm (3-4mm in thickness) Wallrock ThermaWall offers very worthwhile energy savings, well in excess of the 15% standard Wallrock Thermal Liner provides on typical solid brick external walls. Working to save energy from the moment heating is turned on by slowing down the rate at which cold walls soak up heat energy - and allowing the room to warm up considerably faster, in many cases more than halving warm up times, creating a comfortable room environment with less energy. This effect is valuable in any home with solid walls and even those with external or cavity insulation - especially where the heating is regularily turned on and off. Once the room is warmed up and comfortable, steady energy savings continue to be produced.Furthermore Wallrock ThermaWall has excellent capacity to cover and reinforce poor plaster and other surfaces such as plasterboard, blockwork and woodpanelling. Thermawall's narrower width also means it is more suitable for smaller areas such as window reveals.Wallrock ThermaWall reduce condensation problems, potentially eliminating them - as much more room warmth is retained at the wall surface at an earlier stage in the warm up phase there is far less opportunity for condensation to form on a cold wall and consequently a reduced risk of unhealthy mould growth.With a longlasting surface, Wallrock thermaWall offers a longlasting and durable wall coverings which is suitable for painting directly, although for a perfect finish we recommend cross lining with Wallrock Fibreliner Original, Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth or Wallrock Fireliner (avoid the use of standard linings) which allows not only painting but the application of decorative wallpaper.A lining paper created to combat condensation and mould forming on your walls. Approximately 4mm thick and it can be hung as paste the wall or paste the paper. It will significantly reduce heat loss and help room warm-up times and is an excellent surface for paint.
