Carlube Copper Grease is a high-performance, lead-free anti-seize compound designed for application to threads of nuts and bolts prior to assembly. It ensures easy release, even after long periods in adverse conditions, preventing damage. The product is based on a non-melting grease containing a complex blend of heat-resistant solids and low-shear metals. Applications include battery terminals, disc pad brakes, exhaust clamps, spark plug threads, and wheel studs. Copper grease helps prevent disc brake squeal when applied to the back of disc pads; do not apply any compound to friction material or the disc's electrical system. Key features include excellent corrosion resistance, easing dismantling where metal pickup can occur, assisting initial assembly for easier and positive tightening, and preventing galling and seizure even at extreme temperatures. Carlube began in 1988, expanding into lubrication with the Carlube brand. Within 30 years, it became the largest independent oil manufacturer in the UK, with all production at their state-of-the-art facility in the Northwest of England. Since the launch of Carlube's first product, Formula 1 Non-Spec Oil, they have evolved to produce all lubricant requirements, from standard mineral oils to fully synthetic high-performance racing oils.
