The Growing Success Plum Maggot Monitoring Trap is an eco-friendly way to track plum moth infestations in plum, damson, and greengage trees. This pheromone-based trap attracts and captures male moths, helping gardeners assess infestation levels without harming beneficial insects. This refill pack includes 1x sticky glue insert & 1x monitoring lure to prevent damage to fruit. Plum moth larvae burrow into fruit, causing significant damage. By detecting their presence early, this trap allows for timely intervention. If more than 12 moths per week are caught, further treatment may be needed. Pesticide-free and safe for organic gardening, it monitors up to three trees within a 12-metre range. Hang the trap in early June, monitor until August, and remove it in September.
