Easy to grow from seed and fast to flower, these cosmos thrive in sunny spots with minimal care, rewarding you with continuous blooms until the first frosts. Pollinator-friendly and excellent for cutting, theyre a versatile choice for gardeners wanting long-lasting colour and energy in their displays. Beautifully bright, freely flowering, and compact mix. Easy to grow, with an exceptionally long flowering period. Attracts bees and butterflies, making it perfect for pollinator-friendly gardens. Sow: March to April Flowering: June to October Sowing Level fill a tray with seed compost, firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly, lightly covering with vermiculite or a little more compost. Place in a propagator at 18–25 °C, or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room. Growing On When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into small pots or module trays. Maintain a minimum temperature of 10 °C. Hardening Off/Planting Out Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out in full sun when the risk of frost has passed. Allow 30 cm between plants. Water well until established. Aftercare Water generously, especially during warm spells. Feed regularly during the flowering season. Deadhead faded blooms to prolong flowering.
