Bring the outside inside with this Esschert Design wall clock that plays a different bird song every hour! The clock face features bird names inscribed in Latin. To install batteries, open the compartment on the rear and insert 3 x 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Adjust the time using the wheel on the movement until the current time is displayed. When mounting, use appropriate wall fixings to secure the clock firmly. Please be aware that condensation may form on the inside of the clock face under certain conditions; this is normal and will clear depending on environmental factors and the clock's location. For Daylight Saving Time adjustments, advance the clock 23 hours clockwise to go back one hour during winter. Avoid moving the dial anticlockwise, as this may disrupt the bird sound sequence. Should the bird sounds become unsynchronised, advance the large dial to approximately 5 minutes past the hour (e.g., 14:05 for "common cuckoo"). Press the small round button until the correct sound is heard. Note that bird sounds are inactive from 22:00 to 05:00; continue pressing the button during these hours to set up the sequence correctly. Maintenance should be performed periodically to ensure accurate function and longevity. Clean the rear of the clock with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Clean the inner side of the clock and battery compartment when replacing batteries or during routine maintenance. The front of the clock can also be cleaned with warm, soapy water. The clock comes packed in an open giftbox with a plastic handle.
