Can I use this on a motorcycle?
No. The Flexible Adhesive Base is not recommended for motorcycles, ATVs, or high-vibration vehicles.
Will the adhesive damage my dashboard?
3M VHB is very strong. While it can be removed with heat, it is not guaranteed to be harmless to all soft-touch or aftermarket dashboard materials.
Can I reuse the adhesive if I move the mount?
No. The 3M VHB tape is designed for single-use applications only.
Does this work on leather or textured wood?
No. It only adheres effectively to smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, or rigid plastics.
What is the maximum curvature this can handle?
It is designed for moderate curves but is not intended for severely curved surfaces, such as those approaching 180 degrees.

Troubleshooting
Base is lifting from the surface
This is usually caused by inadequate surface preparation or trying to mount on an incompatible material. Ensure the surface is non-porous and thoroughly cleaned with alcohol.
Mount feels loose after installation
Verify that the mounting screws connecting the arm to the base are tightened correctly using the included M5 hardware.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils using the included alcohol wipe. The ambient temperature should be above 15 degrees Celsius during installation for the best bond.
- Adhesion: Peel the backing from the 3M adhesive and press firmly onto the surface. Apply pressure for several seconds.
- Curing: Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before attaching any weight or Quad Lock components to the mount.
- Attachment: Use the included spacer and appropriate screw (M5x30 or M5x45) to attach your desired Quad Lock 360 arm or head to the base.
- Care: Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning. If the base needs to be removed, heat the adhesive with a hairdryer to soften it and gently peel it away, though the adhesive tape itself cannot be reused.
