The Metex Ratwall is a robust and effective stainless steel rat blocker designed for underground drains. It prevents rats from entering properties via the drainage system by acting as a barrier while allowing waste to flow freely. This rat blocker is easy to install, either by hand or from street level, and features a unique low-friction fit and an external hinge block to prevent dislodging. It is suitable for domestic use in plastic, clay, and cast iron drains. The Ratwall allows liquids and solid waste to pass down the system while preventing rats from moving upstream. The rats cannot pass or chew through the barrier flap, thus preventing their access to re-infestation. Instructions are included, and a support video is also available. A 4" / 110mm variant is also available. Metex specialises in non-toxic rodent control equipment, including rat valves and proofing tape, for construction professionals and the DIY market.
