Extra sweet, cherry fruits, they won't get as far as the kitchen! When growing tomatoes outdoors, wait until all risk of frost has passed before transplanting tomatoes. Gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 - 10 days before planting out from early June when tomato plants are 20cm (8") tall. Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well drained soil, and transplant at a distance of 60cm (24"). Drive a cane into the soil adjacent to each plant to support them as they grow, and tie each main stem to its support with soft garden twine. Ideal For: Patio, Kitchen Garden, Greenhouse, Conservatory. Hardiness: Half-hardy. Position In: Full sun. Height: Up to 200cm. Spread: Up to 50cm. Tomato 'Sweet Million' is supplied as 1 packet of 6 seeds. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Companion planting: Try growing tomatoes with French marigolds to deter whitefly, and basil, chives or mint to deter aphids and other pests. For greenhouse cultivation: sow from February to March. For outdoor cultivation: sow from March to April.
