This classic bracelet watch features a silver coloured ionic plated case enclosing a large black textured dial with a dual-time setting, 24-hour read-out and a date display. The timepiece is fastened with a durable stainless steel bracelet and has water resistance to 50 metres. The Sekonda 1697 is a multi-functional dress chronograph watch that combines style and practicality. The case is made from stainless steel and it measures 44mm in diameter. The case has been treated to a polished finish. At the side of the case there is an enlarged push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown guards, these buttons provide access to the chronograph functions. Mineral crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering. The dial is presented in black, it exhibits a combination of different textured finishes which give the dial a sense of depth. Around the edge of the dial there are bold silver baton-style hour markers, each of which have a luminescent strip which enables the dial to be read in the dark. The dial also exhibits three subdials, which can be accessed through the push buttons at the side of the case. The stainless steel bracelet comes stylised in a 3-link fashion, it displays a combination of brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet fastens through the use of a fold over deployment clasp. Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate. It has a water resistance rating of 50 metres, which means it can be worn when swimming in shallow waters.
