The Growing Success Apple Maggot Monitoring Trap is an eco-friendly way to track and manage codling moth infestations in apple and pear trees. This pheromone-based trap attracts and captures male moths, helping gardeners assess infestation levels without harming beneficial insects. This is a refill pack and includes 1x sticky glue insert & 1x monitoring lure. Codling moth larvae cause maggot damage by feeding on developing fruit. This trap provides early detection, allowing you to take action if needed. If more than 12 moths per week are captured, further treatment may be required. Hang the trap in mid-May and monitor until late July, removing it in early September for best results.
