This StarTech.com Rail Depth Adapter Kit is designed for server racks, allowing you to extend or reduce the mounting depth by 4 inches (10 cm). It's ideal for accommodating varying equipment sizes and consolidating equipment into a single rack, saving you the need to purchase different sized racks. The adapter can also help manage cables by allowing equipment to be mounted four inches from the rails, preventing cables from protruding and minimizing cable strain. In a two-post installation, the extenders can support a total weight load of 20 lbs (9 kg), while in a four-post installation, they can support a total weight load of 130 lbs (59 kg). This product is TAA compliant, allowing for government GSA Schedule purchases, and is backed by a 2-year warranty and free lifetime North American based technical support.
