The Hee dining chair is a striking yet simple design by Hee Welling for HAY. Made from galvanised solid steel wires, the chair is afforded both a light, linear expression and rust-resistance, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Elegant yet bold, the Hee dining chair can be linked together in rows or arranged perfectly around a modern dining table. Available in five neutral colours. Designed by Hee Welling. Manufactured by HAY. Hee Dining chair is a metal wire in galvanized solid steel which makes it rust-resistant and perfect for outdoor use. The chairs can be linked together in rows for conference use, and the new colour scheme keeps the Hee chairs updated. The philosophy behind the Hee Series was to take an archetypal chair and perfect it to the last detail, with the goal of creating a contemporary chair that could fit into a wide range of contexts. Like a line drawing, Hee wraps metres of metal wire into neat, straight lines in three versions: bar stool, lounge chair, and dining chair. Stackable and weatherproof, the chairs’ functional design combined with its choice of powder coated colours and hot galvanised steel variants make the series suitable for numerous indoor and outdoor contexts in both public spaces and home environments.
