Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets offer a natural and organic solution to deter slugs and snails from your plants. These pellets create a highly effective, textured barrier. Suitable for organic gardens, they are made from wool and are perfect for use around fruits, flowers, vegetables, and in tubs and baskets. Simply lay the pellets on the compost around plant stems and water. Once wet, the pellets self-felt to form a continuous mat, irritating slugs and snails and absorbing moisture from their feet, making it difficult for them to cross. For optimal results, apply a 10cm wide band around plant bases. The wool pellet mat also helps keep pot surfaces dry while retaining moisture below, inhibiting weed germination and reducing watering frequency due to less evaporation. As an organic material, Slug Gone provides slow-release nutrients, improving soil and feeding plants when dug in after use. It's a biodegradable protein fibre releasing nitrogen, potassium, sulfur, and other essential trace elements for plant growth.
