The slightly oval, 5cm fruits offer a juicy, firm texture with a dripless interior, making them ideal for fresh eating and garden-to-plate dishes. As a cordon (indeterminate) type, these tall, productive plants reach up to 200cm and produce reliable harvests throughout the season. 'Black Moon' also boasts strong resistance to late blight, giving peace of mind to gardeners who face this common disease. Perfect for greenhouses or sunny outdoor spots, this half-hardy annual is a rewarding grow for any tomato enthusiast. Sowing & Care: For greenhouses: sow Feb–Apr. Outdoors: sow Mar–Apr. Sow on damp, free-draining compost and lightly cover. Keep at 15–20°C. Pot on once seedlings have 2 true leaves. Transplant to final positions when 20cm tall and hardened off. Outdoors, plant after all risk of frost, spacing 60cm apart. Use canes and soft ties to support. Feed regularly and water consistently. Companion Planting Tip: Grow with French marigolds to deter whitefly, or basil, chives or mint to help prevent aphids.
