Salactol Wart Paint is a collodian paint designed for the treatment of warts, verrucas, corns, and calluses. It contains active ingredients Salicylic acid (16.7% w/w) and lactic acid (16.7% w/w), along with other ingredients like pyroxylin, colophony, castor oil, IMS, and ether. This product works by softening hard skin, making it easier to remove with a pumice stone or emery board, and helps to eliminate the virus responsible for warts and verrucas. It is suitable for adults, children, and the elderly. To use, soak the affected area in warm water, dry thoroughly, and gently rub away loose skin. Apply a few drops of the paint to the wart, verruca, corn, or callus, allowing each drop to dry. Avoid contact with surrounding healthy skin. For areas on the sole of the foot, cover with an adhesive plaster. Repeat this process daily until the growth disappears. Treatment duration may vary, potentially up to 12 weeks. Do not use if you are allergic to the ingredients, or on sensitive areas like the face, armpits, breasts, bottom, or genital area. Avoid use on birthmarks, moles, or warts with hairs. Do not use if you have diabetes or poor blood circulation. Possible side effects include slight tingling or mild tenderness. If irritation occurs, stop use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C and away from ignition sources. Do not use after the expiry date or more than 3 months after opening.
