The DJI Osmo Flexible Adhesive Base Kit is an essential mounting solution for motorcycle and cycling enthusiasts looking to capture high-quality first-person perspective footage from a helmet. By providing a secure, curved surface mount, it allows users to attach their Osmo Action cameras directly to their gear for stable recording; however, users must ensure the application surface is clean and smooth, as it will not adhere reliably to porous, textured, or irregular materials.

Yes, but it is designed as a permanent mount. Removal may require heat and adhesive remover, and the adhesive will not be reusable once removed.
It is compatible with Osmo Action 6, 5 Pro, 4, 3, 360, and Nano.
Depending on your specific camera model, you may need an Osmo Action Quick-Release Adapter Mount or a Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount.
Adhesion can be inconsistent on matte or rubberized finishes; it is recommended to test a small area or use on a glossy, smooth surface for best results.
It is recommended to wait 24 hours after application before attaching the camera and taking it out for a ride.
Ensure the surface was cleaned with alcohol and is completely dry. If the surface is textured or porous, the adhesive will not bond correctly.
Check that the locking screw is tightened securely and ensure the Quick-Release Adapter Mount is fully seated in the base.
To set up the kit, identify a spot on your helmet that is smooth and free of scratches or wax. Wipe the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Peel the backing off the adhesive, press firmly onto the helmet, and maintain pressure for 30 seconds. Allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before attaching the camera. Note that you may need an 'Osmo Action Quick-Release Adapter Mount' or 'Osmo Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount' to connect your specific camera model. To maintain the mount, avoid exposing the adhesive to extreme chemical solvents and periodically check the integrity of the base before each ride.
