Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, place the Canon EOS R into the cage, aligning the anti-twist pins on the base with the camera's bottom surface. Secure the cage using the built-in 1/4"-20 screw with the provided flathead screwdriver located at the bottom. Ensure the pins are seated correctly to prevent any slight movement.
This cage is compatible with the Canon EOS R body. When using the Canon EF-EOS R lens adapter, it is highly recommended to use the SmallRig BSA2696 adapter support to reduce strain on the camera's lens mount.
