Liqui Moly DPF/GPF Cleaner is a non-flammable, ash-free cleaner designed to dissolve soot in the exhaust particulate filters of both gasoline and diesel engines. It is used to restore the absorption capacity of the particulate filter and can be applied during service without requiring the filter's removal. This cleaning fluid is suitable for situations where the diesel particulate filter is heavily laden, indicated by symptoms like reduced performance or increased fuel consumption. It's also recommended for preventative use, especially with less-than-ideal driving profiles. The cleaner works without removing the particulate filter, improves its load condition, and allows for forced regeneration after clogging. It effectively dissolves soot deposits and evaporates without leaving residue. Application involves removing the temperature or pressure sensor at the diesel particulate filter, spraying the cleaner through the opening towards the filter, refitting the sensors, and performing regeneration as per the manufacturer's instructions. Any existing error codes should be cleared. This product should only be applied by professional workshops and specialists, and vehicle manufacturer notes must be strictly adhered to.
