The KWJ700/PRO is a 700mm Professional Multi-Material Worktop Jig, serving as an improved replacement for the KWJ/700A. It is designed for routing mitre joints in laminated, timber, and compact laminate surfaces. Key features include 3mm, 10mm, and 35mm inset options, along with innovative front edge alignment technology for precise positioning on scribed, out-of-square, and non-standard worktops. The jig facilitates quick and easy creation of 3mm and 10mm insets with narrow inset T-gauges, ideal for square-edged and modern bullnose worktops, offering a cleaner aesthetic and improved router runtime. Male cut-line positioning devices enable direct jig placement to the male cut line, eliminating complex calculations for trapped and out-of-square installations. It also features preset connector bolt recesses for standard worktop bolts like Zipbolt and Unika 'Slimline', and indexed backsets for common worktop widths (600mm to 700mm) for 90° installations. Additional capabilities include a 400mm radius for breakfast bar trimming, R100mm, R40mm, and 45° corners for edge finishing, and 90° straight cuts for skimming and trimming. A 35mm hinge/BSP recess is included for monobloc tap and concealed hinge installation. Constructed from CNC-machined compact grade HPL for precision, strength, and durability, it also incorporates an 8mm radius gauge for 10mm narrow inset suitability and an 8.65mm marking gauge for precise jig positioning for peninsula, radius, and 45° corner finishing. Dimensions are Length 1010 mm, Width 340 mm, Thickness 12 mm, and Weight 5.5 kg. It requires a 30mm guide bush, a 12.7mm dia. x 50mm length router cutter, a 1/2inch plunge router, and F-clamps.
