The Tascam DR-40X is a versatile four-track audio recorder for music, podcasting, cinema, and any other application requiring high-quality audio. Building on the highly successful Tascam DR-40, this recorder adds several new functions to the already comprehensive feature set. It features an adjustable, cardioid stereo condenser microphone (AB/XY) and a built-in MS (Mid/Side) decoder. Additionally, it offers stereo XLR/TRS microphone/line inputs with phantom power, allowing you to connect your own microphones for professional flexibility. Record up to four tracks simultaneously and save them to SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards (up to 128 GB). The DR-40X also includes a genuine USB interface for easy file transferring and recording via PC or laptop. It can be powered by 3x AAA batteries or USB.
