Prepare the ground by clearing any stones and weeds. Lightly dig over to loosen soil and rake over. Give the box a good shake and scatter the contents at a rate of 25-30g/sq m (approximately 8 tablespoons). Water the ground immediately. Sow mid-March to June or September to November. Flowers in summer from a spring sowing, or the following spring from an autumn sowing; annuals will flower in their first year and then self-seed for flowering in following years, perennials normally flower from year 2 onwards (some may flower in their first year if sown early). Water regularly until they are fully established, especially during dry periods. Remove any fading flowers to encourage fresh blooms and keep weed free.Images shown are for guidance only.
