Full details
Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection additive for engines. It reduces friction and wear through ceramic compounds that offer high chemical and thermal resistance. This prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the service life of assemblies. Cera Tec also reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines due to its low-friction effect. It is miscible with all commercially available motor oils and motor vehicle gear oils. Suitable for engines, manual transmissions, pumps, and compressors. It is added to the respective oil and is self-mixing. 300 ml is sufficient for up to 5 liters of motor oil, providing a long-term effect of around 50,000 km. Shake well before use. It is suitable for toothed belts running in oil but not for use with wet clutches. Benefits include excellent high and low-temperature behavior, chemical inertness, suitability for diesel particulate filters, increased smooth operation, stability under extreme pressures, compatibility with fine filters, highest thermal stability, no deposits, long engine service life, miscibility with all commercially available motor oils, reduced fuel consumption, reduced frictional losses, and it has been tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters.
