Molyslip M240007 MCC Metal Cutting Compound is a low melt point metal cutting compound designed to provide greater cutting accuracy and prolonged tool life by reducing heat and friction between your cutting tool and workpiece. It contains extreme pressure additives and is fortified with MoS2 for excellent performance and lubricity, preventing burning and smoking. This metal working spray can be applied to most tough metals and light alloys, and is especially useful for hobbying, gear shaping, thread grinding, drilling, broaching, and tapping. MCC is ready-to-use and can be applied directly to your tool or the hole to be tapped using a brush or by dipping the surface. While MCC is a soft paste suitable for brush or dip application, Molyslip also offers MWF (metalworking fluid) and MWS (aerosol form) for different applications.
