It's a great feature plant for growing in a patio pot with a decorative obelisk or along a garden trellis where its exotic blooms can be enjoyed. Sow seeds from February to April into pots or trays of moist seed compost, covering them lightly. Place in a propagator or warm location, maintaining a temperature of around 20-30C (68-86F). Avoid excluding light after sowing as it aids germination. Keep the compost surface moist but not waterlogged; germination typically takes 30-40 days. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 7.5cm (3in) pots of good quality, soil-less compost and provide support for climbing shoots. Supplied as 1 x seed packet (containing 4 seeds per pack). Position: Full sun. Height: Up to 180cm (70.9in) when fully established. Spread: Up to 30cm (11.8in) when fully established. Supplied as Flower Seed - Glory Lily (Mixed) (Glorisoa superba) – Tender Perennial (4 seeds per pack). Delivered with growing and care instructions. Images are for guidance only and may vary due to growing conditions or seasonality. This exotic climber produces fiery red blooms with yellow edges, making it a popular choice for cut flowers and arrangements. As a tender perennial, it thrives in patio pots and can be moved indoors during winter.
