Our Ribes rubrum Jonkheer Van Tets is a hardy fruit plant that produces a heavy crop of tasty Redcurrants. These begin to harvest in Summer - mostly between June and July - making this one of the earliest varieties to ripen. Planting the plants in late Spring will give them plenty of time to adjust to the conditions, so they are ready for picking and including in puddings, pies, jellies, wines and more. They will grow to an ultimate height of 1m and ultimate spread of 0.75m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only.
