The Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 Charger is a professional, Bluetooth-enabled battery charger designed for use with a variety of devices including motor vehicles like classic cars, motorbikes, boats, and camper-vans. It features a high efficiency of up to 94%, generating significantly less heat than industry standards and reducing power consumption to as low as 0.5 Watt when the battery is fully charged. The charger utilizes an adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm (test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage) with a microprocessor to optimize the charging process based on battery usage. Its storage mode minimizes maintenance and aging by reducing float voltage and periodically equalizing the battery to prevent stratification and sulfation. The charger also supports Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries with a simple algorithm and includes a NIGHT and LOW setting that reduces output current and noise for quiet operation.
