Viola ‘Allspice Mixed’ offers a spectacular range of flower colours and forms, combined with a wonderful variety of fragrances. Perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and flower pouches, these trailing violas bring vibrant colour and delightful perfume to your garden throughout spring and early summer. Some parts of these flowers are edible, making them a charming addition to the kitchen as well as the garden. Sow from spring to autumn on the surface of good seed compost, firm down lightly, and place in a propagator at 15–20°C (59–68°F) or cover with polythene. Keep the compost moist but not wet, avoiding excessive heat, and do not exclude light. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Feed and water regularly to encourage continuous flowering.
