The Victron VE.Bus BMS is a Battery Management System designed to interface with and protect singl...The Victron VE.Bus BMS is a Battery Management System designed to interface with and protect single or multiple Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8V & 25.6V (LiFePO4 or LFP) batteries in systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication. It monitors and protects the batteries against overvoltage, undervoltage, and over/under temperature conditions for each individual cell. The BMS generates pre-alarm signals for imminent cell undervoltage, disables inverting in VE.Bus inverters/chargers and disconnects other loads via the 'Load Disconnect' terminal during cell undervoltage. It also disables charging in VE.Bus inverters/chargers via VE.Bus and disconnects other chargers via the 'Charge Disconnect' terminal during cell overvoltage, under temperature, or over temperature conditions. Features include remote on/off terminals, the ability to disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers via a GX device, and control of the VE.Bus inverter/charger from multiple devices. Auxiliary power input/output terminals ensure a GX device remains powered during system shutdowns. This BMS is suitable for campervans, RVs, boats, welfare units, and off-grid installations. The operating voltage range is 9 to 70V DC. It connects to Victron Energy MultiPlus, Quattro, or Phoenix inverters using a standard RJ45 UTP cable. The BMS provides integrated Balancing, Temperature, and Voltage control (BTV).
